Hunting in the Turtle Lake area is both challenging and rewarding. After a number of easy winters, deer numbers are plentiful. There are also good opportunities for bear, moose, upland birds and waterfowl.
Whitetail season in the forest Zone #67 starts the beginning of September for archery, and runs through to the end of the first week of December. Farmland Zone #47 has less liberal season dates for other than Saskatchewan residents. Forest, forest fringe, and farmland hunting is only minutes from the Lodge.
Come and enjoy the privacy and luxury of your own cabin, or secluded campsite at our All Season Family Resort in Saskatchewan's Northern Provincial Forest.
During your stay, you can relax on your own deck or enjoy the beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear water. Or sit on our deck, and enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the lake.
If you are not the sitting type, we have other activities for you to discover. Take a boat out, and enjoy the exceptional fishing for Walleye or Northern Pike. There is a nature sanctuary nearby that has excellent walking trails. We have signed quad trails that you can access right from your cabin.
These are just a few things that you can do in the summer time.
