Quebec doesn't have laws that require outfitters to state true kill rates, therefore beware of those who boast 98 - 99 % success rates, or who guarantee you a caribou (often only a sales pitch).

Jack Hume Caribou Adventures now has twenty-eight well-equipped camps strategically located covering all areas accessible by floatplane from Schefferville and we will continue to monitor any changes in the migration and build new camps where necessary. Since Jack Hume Caribou Adventures only books seven camps at one time we have a four to one ratio of spare camps, we believe with this many spare camps we can offer you the best chance of success in Northern Quebec.

Top Quality Equipment - Jack Hume Caribou Adventures has more camps per hunter ratio than any other outfitter. That means we have more spare camps to move hunters to during changes in the migration. Very important. Plus all camps are plywood constructed not tents. Boats, motors and other equipment are in top shape; we know your success depends on it. We have a reefer truck and cold room to properly store your meat and have a large inventory of spare motors, chain saws and other necessary equipment should they be required in camp. If an outboard motor won't operate you don't want to be stuck without until the outfitter has one shipped from Montreal.
