This summer, catch all the excitement aboard the F/V Island Magic, your ticket to the Swiftsure bank for offshore West Coast Salmon fishing. We offer 1, 2, and 4 day fishing charters to various locations such as Sooke, Port Renfrew, Swiftsure Bank, Barkley Sound, Tofino, Ucluelet and Victoria.

Island Magic Fishing Charters multi-day packages take full advantage of the views offered by the island, displaying a rugged coastline, thick old growth forests, and of course, an abundance of sea life to be seen everywhere.

Island Magic Fishing Charters single day fishing charters are equally as exciting, providing plenty of action inside many areas of Juan De Fuca Straights. Eight hours of fishing takes place in and around local Sooke fishing hot spots.

Island Magic Fishing Charters offers 1, 2 and 4 day fishing packages aboard a 54 foot luxury Sport Fisher. We fish for Chinook, Coho, Sockeye, Halibut, Rockfish and crab. The vessel has two bathrooms, a full shower, accommodation for 6 plus crew, a full galley, leather couches, DVD, CD, wet bars, live tanks, massive deck space and more.

The Island Magic Fishing Charters Difference - All of our charters are private party reservations. We don't fill our vessel to capacity with other guests. When you decide on a charter with Island Magic Charters, you get the entire vessel and its crew at your disposal. All of our charters include Vessel, crew, fishing gear, tackle and at the very minimum, coffee and snacks.

Day Fishing in Sooke - Day Fishing for salmon takes place on the southwestern side of Vancouver Island near the town of Sooke. From the government dock in Sooke, we depart around 6:00 am. And make way for where-ever the fish have been biting; Otter point Secretary Isle, Muir creek, Trap Shack or Sherringham point. All rods, reels, bait and tackle are included. Fishing lasts for 8 hours. We then set sail for Sooke harbor where in the meantime you are at your leisure to soak in the sights. Upon returning to the dock, your guide will clean and prepare all of the fish for transport. Custom smoking and vacuum packaging is available upon request.

Coastal Cruising - Discover the Gulf islands, take a cruise to Saltspring Island. For 2 days and 1 night, you will wander past dozens of cottage islands that dot the coast of vancouver island. We depart from Victoria harbor for Saltspring Island in the morning.

Island Magic Fishing Charters arrives in Ganges harbor that afternoon where guests are welcome to go ashore and browse through the many shops. Saltspring Island is home to many artisans, their works can be seen in the galleries of downtown Ganges.

Guests have the option to dine onboard that evening or dine out at one of the many restaurants in Ganges. Guests will stay onboard that night. The last day is spent discovering and cruising through the islands back to Sydney Harbor.
