We are located in the heart of Manitoba's wilderness where no roads, towns, or any other person has access. The only way to fish Bolton is through Bolton Lake Lodge. We offer fishing packages for guests who want everything taken care of. We provide the meals, the accommodations and great fishing with professional guides so that our guests just have to sit back and enjoy fantastic fishing and scenery.

Bolton Lake has some of the best Northern Pike fishing in Manitoba, and even Canada, but what's great about Bolton is the diversity of species. Our guests catch trophy Walleye, trophy Lake Trout and now we offer a day fly out trip for trophy Brook Trout. There are very few other Manitoba fishing lodges that can offer trophy fishing for these 4 great species.

Bolton Lake Lodge and Outposts offers trophy fishing for three of the greatest species available in Canada. Bolton Lake holds Pike over 30 pounds, Lake Trout over 45 pounds and Walleye over 12 pounds. We also have a flyout for the most colorful fish in Canada, Brook Trout on God's River.

All our trophies and all other fish are released (except small Walleye, Pike or Lake Trout for shorelunch) in order to maintain the outstanding fishing available on Bolton Lake. Proper fish management is one of the reasons our guests keep coming back year after year.

Bolton Lake Lodge is now offering Moose, Bear, Wolf and Combination Hunts! After 3 years of test hunting including a very successful season in 2007 where we were 100% on Bear hunts and 75% on Moose hunts, we have concluded that we have a very productive area and great staff to provide successful hunts.

Your Moose hunting guide calls the big bulls to the water’s edge and when you hear that bull call back, thrash the bush and break some branches your heart will be pounding through your chest! Once your bull is down, we quarter it and cape it out ready for a full head mount. We have hanging and freezing facilities at the lodge so that your meat is well cared for and ready for you to take it home. Wolves can be taken with an unused moose license, and you have the option of purchasing a bear tag or you can just enjoy some spectacular fishing after you’ve taken your animal.

Bolton Lake Lodge & Outposts offer both spring and fall hunts for Bear at Bolton Lake, your Bear hunt takes place at baited sites where you have a great opportunity for color phase cinnamon bears and/or a giant black bear. Tree stands and ground blinds are all set up within bow hunting range. Trail cameras are set up at some of the stands so that we can determine the best stand for you to spend your time. A wolf can also be taken with an unused bear tag, and after your hunt you can enjoy fantastic spring or fall fishing.
